A survey of nurses working with older adults across three National Health Service trusts in England  found that nurses who feel their employer is more dynamic and entrepreneurial are more satisfied at work.

This leads the report’s authors to recommend that senior managers draw attention to the benefits of the NHS continuing to evolve and challenge notions that it is static and unresponsive.

Length of nursing experience in this study was not a predictor of burnout, although perceived organizational support and organizational culture may explain it.
